This week, we are putting the spotlight on some opportunities in the Hudson Valley.
Kingdom Faire
Described as a "Renaissance festival with a twist," Kingdom Faire is a live immersive experience that brings together performers, artisans, and community members for a weekend of theater, storytelling, and celebration. Volunteers are needed to support a variety of roles, including box office and check-in, pub team, operations, setup and breakdown, and more.

Location: Carmel
Westchester Land Trust is gearing up for its annual benefit in June, and it's looking for volunteers to assist with two projects: the first crew will be preparing for the Wine Pull event by writing labels and tucking bottles into festive bags, while the second team will be assembling envelopes for the live and silent auctions.

Location: Bedford Hills
Calling all helping hands! Volunteers are needed to assist Girls Scouts Heart of the Hudson paint and refresh the staff cabin at Rock Hill Camp for the upcoming summer season. The Staff Cabin is where staff feel welcomed, relaxed, and have a place to reenergize themselves as they create a lifetime of memories for campers. Gloves, supplies, and lunch will be provided, and volunteers should bring their own reusable water bottles and wear clothing they don't mind getting dirty. This opportunity is for ages 18+.

The Volunteer Grants Manager will help identify strong funding opportunities, review grant strategy, strengthen proposal narratives, support grant submissions, and help ensure the Club is well-positioned to secure competitive funding. This opportunity is the perfect role for an experienced professional or retired development leader who wants to use their expertise to help strengthen and expand life-changing programs for children and teens in Mount Vernon.
