Arguing Spouses + Man Threatens To Harm Himself: Blotter

PUTNAM COUNTY, NY — Here are some of the recent activities by the Putnam County Sheriff's Office.
Check out the incidents which include a domestic dispute and a disorderly man.
October 23, 2021: Deputies were dispatched, at approximately 4:11 a.m. on Oct. 23, 2021, to the area of Cedar Drive in the town of Putnam Valley on a report of three subjects screaming and one subject who could be heard saying “get away from me.” Deputies arrived on the scene and spoke with a 32-year-old female who said she went to the home of her ex-boyfriend, who lives on Cedar Drive, and got into a verbal and then physical dispute with another female who was in the home with the ex-boyfriend. There were no apparent injuries and the female did not want to press charges. She left the scene with another male.

October 25, 2021: At approximately 11:20 a.m. in the town of Philipstown a deputy observed a Blue Dodge Caravan with Pennsylvania plates and tinted windows speeding. The deputy stopped the vehicle in the 1600 block of Route 9. A check of the driver’s license revealed that his license to drive had been suspended a total of three times. The driver, a 46-year-old Poughkeepsie resident, was issued multiple traffic tickets and released. He was driven from the scene by a licensed driver.
October 26, 2021: At approximately 7 p.m., deputies responded to a home in the Lake Peekskill section of Putnam Valley on a call of a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, the deputies were met by a 55-year-old woman and her 58-year-old husband. The wife said she had just arrived home after a weekend away with friends and her husband began arguing with her. No crimes were committed so the wife voluntarily left the residence for the night. The deputy completed a Domestic Incident Report (DIR) to document the incident.

October 28, 2021: At approximately 7:23 a.m., deputies were dispatched to a home in the town of Putnam Valley on a report of a disorderly male. Upon arrival, they were met by a male who said that his 21-year-old son was in a highly intoxicated condition and was threatening to harm himself. The individual was taken into custody and removed to a local hospital for an evaluation.
