A self-taught photographer, Gyomai expresses his artistic visions by combining ‘straight’ photography with the endless possibilities of Adobe Photoshop.
His work has been exhibited extensively in local galleries.
Erica Hauser is a painter based in Newburgh, NY. She grew up in Brewster and graduated in 2002 with a BFA in illustration from School of Visual Arts in New York City.
Her vintage-hued paintings of ordinary objects and places, described as a sort of ‘nostalgic Americana’ and inspired in part by observation, sense-memories and photographs, have been exhibited regularly in the New York area and occasionally beyond.
Since moving to the Hudson Valley in 2007, she has participated in many local art projects and collaborations, curated group shows, and currently runs Catalyst Gallery in Beacon. Hauser has received several grants to support her work and attended artist residencies in New Mexico, Vermont, and upstate New York.
Join the Cultural Arts Coalition at the Studio Around the Corner as we present these two exceptional artists.
