Ed Dabrowski is a house painter by trade, but defines himself as an artist as well. His admiration for Malcolm X, Jimi Hendrix, and William Shakespeare have played a major role in Ed’s artistic journey.
His paintings are influenced by the subway graffiti of the 1970’s in New York City, as well as the handball courts along the West Side highway. Dabrowski's work is also inspired by the inmates at Greenhaven Prison where for the past 11 years he has volunteered in the Alternative to Violence project .
Dabrowski's work hangs in private collections and has also been ...highlighted... (change to 'featured') in the Studio's Artists In Residence space. His work can be found on Facebook under Ed Dabrowski Graffiti.
