Brewster Cub Scouts Learn The Game At Centennial Golf Course

BREWSTER, NY — The Scouts from Brewster Cub Scout Pack 1 got an introduction to golf recently.

On Tuesday, June 4th, the local Scouts visited the driving range at Centennial Golf Course. After a brief introduction to golf etiquette and the basics of how to swing a club, the Scouts spent the next hour practicing their new skills.

The event was made possible by the gracious staff at Centennial. Brewster Pack 1 Cubmaster Steven Mattson said, "The staff at Centennial went out of their way to accommodate us, make us feel welcome, and introduce a new generation to the sport of golf."
