BREWSTER, NY — The annual community Thanksgiving dinner took place at Bob's Diner, with contributions from many including the Brewster Italian American Club.

The meal of roast turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, vegetables and potatoes followed by pies, cakes, cookies and beverages – is served free to all who attend from mid-day to evening.

Named for Bob Sprague, grandfather of the current owner, Thomas, the diner has been an eating place and meeting place for more than 60 years.
