Brewster Looking for VFW Auxiliary Members

Assist families and help with local events

Interested in supporting Veterans and Veterans' issues? The Brewster VFW is looking to start an Auxiliary unit and is inviting people to apply.

The Auxiliary will help with community events and VFW fundraisers, assist local families of deployed service members, and participate in other Veteran-related events. Meetings will be held once per month at the Brewster VFW. The VFW Auxiliary offers its members access to one of the nation’s largest networks of money-saving products and services in the insurance and benefits industry.

VFW Auxiliary membership is open to men and women who are at least 16 years of age, and are related to a Veteran who is eligible for VFW membership. (VFW membership is open to Veterans that are US citizens that served honorably, and who served in a war, campaign, or expedition on foreign soil or in hostile waters.)

Qualifying relations include wife, husband, mother, father, grandmother, grandfather, daughter, son, granddaughter, grandson, sister or brother of a VFW-eligible Veteran.
