Brewster PTOs Host 'Meet The Candidates' Thursday Night

BREWSTER, NY — With three candidates running for two seats on the Brewster Board of Education, the PTA/PTSA will host a "Meet the Candidates" evening Thursday.

Parent Jamie Callanan, one of the organizers of Reopen Putnam Schools, an advocacy group seeking an end to pandemic-era remote instruction in the spring of 2021, is challenging incumbents Leonor Volpe and Scott Seaman, who are both seeking re-election.

The event starts at 7:30 p.m. at JFK Elementary School.
