Brewster School District Vote Results

Voters approved the Brewster schools’ 2015-16 spending plan by a vote of 917 ‘yes’ and 457 ‘no’ according to unofficial results.

There were five candidates, including incumbents Stephen Jambor and Sonia Mesika, running for three seats on the Board of Education. Here are the unofficial results:

• Mary Cay Nilsen 799
• Stephen O. Jambor 786
• Sonia Mesika 735
• Lauren Harper 672
• Daniel E. Armstrong 549

There was also an additional proposition asking voters to approve the purchase of seven buses/vans at a cost not to exceed $479,975. It was approved by a vote of 915 to 460.
