Brewster Trustees Set Hearing on Village Budget for 2015-16

The spending plan is 2.37 percent higher than this year's budget.

Brewster village Board of Trustees will hold a Budget Public Hearing April 15 on the proposed budget for 2015-16.

A copy of the tentative budget is currently available for review by the public at the office of the Village Clerk and online at www.brewstervillage-ny.gov.

  • The spending plan totals $1,515,486, a 2.37 percent increase from current spending
  • 10 percent increase in the budget line for Police Department salaries
  • Neither the mayor nor the trustees would receive raises under the spending plan. Currently the mayor is paid $15,600 and the trustees are paid $4,653.50 annually

The hearing is scheduled to start at 7:30PM in Village Hall, 50 Main St.
