Brewster Village Budget Hearing 7PM Tonight
Here are some details about the spending plan.
The Board of Trustees of the Village of Brewster will hold a Budget Public Hearing at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Village Hall, 50 Main Street, Brewster, N.Y. to take and hear comments on the 2016-17 spending plan.
The proposed $1,455,767 expenditures for next fiscal year would be 3.94 percent lower than the current budget. The village also expects lower non-tax revenues. The amount to be raised by taxes would be essentially flat -- only a 0.12 percent increase.
The Public Hearing may be continued as may be directed by the Board of Trustees at the April 13 Public Hearing but not beyond April 20 according to the Village Clerk.
