Brewster Voters Reject Proposed District Budget for 2018-19
Here are the unofficial results from Tuesday's vote.
BREWSTER, NY -- Voters rejected the Brewster school district budget plan for 2018-19. The result was close -- 808 voted "no" while 689 voted "yes."
However, voters didn't mind letting district officials spend $754,000 on new school buses: 835 people voted "yes" and 660 voted "no."
Erik Grutzner, Daniel Heintz and Sonia Mesika were elected to the Brewster Board of Education.
