Cabarets in Brewster: Public Hearing April 5

Two public hearings will deal with changes to the laws about signage and cabarets.

BREWSTER, NY — The Board of Trustees of the Village of Brewster will hold two public hearings April 5.

The first is to amend the Village Code about signage.

The second is to create a Special Permit for cabarets in the village. Right now, cabarets (excluding adult entertainment) are a permitted use in Business Zones 1 and 3.

Text of the proposed local laws will be available to the general public in the Village Clerk’s office or online at www.brewstervillage-ny.gov at least 5 days before the public hearing.

The hearings will take place at Village Hall starting at 7:30 p.m.
