On Wednesday, July 8, the Brewster Summer Music Series proudly welcomes home Genevieve Faivre, a Brewster High School alumna whose captivating performances have earned her recognition at venues throughout the New York metropolitan area.
Known for her remarkable versatility, Genevieve effortlessly moves across musical genres, from fronting the high-energy "Hot To Go – A Chappell Roan Tribute" to performing in Studio Paradiso's acclaimed "David Lynch Tribute." This summer, she returns to Brewster with an unforgettable evening of "Cinematic Soundscapes," a musical journey through some of Hollywood's most beloved films.
Backed by an outstanding band of professional musicians, Genevieve will bring iconic movie music to life with fresh, imaginative arrangements from classics including Back to the Future, Star Wars, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Psycho, and many more. Whether you're a film buff, a music lover, or simply looking for a memorable summer evening, this concert promises something for everyone.
Genevieve has graced the stages of renowned New York venues including 54 Below, Connolly's in Midtown Manhattan, The Red Pavilion in Brooklyn, and the legendary Café Wha? in Greenwich Village. Equally at home performing jazz standards and original music, she is celebrated for her expressive vocals, dynamic stage presence, and ability to connect with audiences of all ages.

Attention Putnam Residents! Bring your dogs, cats, and ferrets to a FREE rabies vaccination clinic on Saturday, July 18 from 10am-12pm. Sponsored by the Hubbard Lodge 2920 Route 9 Cold Spring, and is open to all Putnam County residents.
Please bring a photo ID as proof of Putnam County residency, as well as proof of prior rabies vaccination. Tags are not acceptable. If you do not have proof of prior rabies vaccination, your pet will receive a one-year rabies vaccine. Pets must be at least 12 weeks old. All dogs must be leashed and controlled. Any dog that may become aggressive must be muzzled. Cats and ferrets must be in carriers, top-loading carriers preferred, no harnesses. All animals must be supervised by an adult. For the comfort and safety of the animals, social distancing and bringing a minimum number of people are suggested.

The Studio Around The Corner

The Studio Around the Corner is blessed with two grand pianos. On Sunday, July 26th at 3 p.m., audiences will have the opportunity to hear those two pianos played simultaneously for the first time at a “Concert Around the Corner” entitled “Two Grands - Four Hands.”&nbsp; Celebrated musicians Sharon Chang and Michael Mulder will provide a joyous afternoon as they perform music by Mozart, Ravel and Arensky – using all 176 keys.&nbsp;
Sharon Chang is an accomplished, internationally-recognized concert pianist who performs extensively as both a soloist and chamber musician across the United States and China. She has built a reputation for her dynamic repertoire spanning classical works and world premieres. 
Dr. Michael Mulder is a classically-trained pianist, organist and educator in New York. He is currently the band teacher in the Bedford Central School District and Choir Director/Organist at St. James Church in North Salem.

The series is one of many programs of the Town of Southeast Cultural Arts Coalition, a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating and sustaining cultural arts in Brewster. Since 2010, the Coalition has led the restoration of the historic Southeast Old Town Hall while presenting hundreds of cultural events through the Studio Around the Corner, the Old Town Hall Theater, and other local venues. Join us for the 15th Annual Putnam County Wine &amp; Music Fest at Putnam County Veterans Memorial Park (Upper), 201 Gipsy Trail Road, Carmel, NY. The event takes place on Saturday, August 22, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Sunday, August 23, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 2026.
Enjoy walk-around tastings from local restaurants and food trucks, specialty food vendors, arts and crafts, and live music from international and local artists across genres, including Reggae, Pop, Country, and Latin. Additional features include a cooking demonstration, beer tent, and children’s activities such as face painting, sand art, and cornhole.
