Carmel Man Arrested For DWI After Driving Over Barrier Into Another Vehicle
Police said he had a blood-alcohol level of 0.18 percent or higher.

CARMEL, NY — Carmel Police arrested a Carmel man Aug. 19 for drunk driving after he drove over a stone barrier in a parking lot and struck another vehicle. Robert Carlisle, 49, was taken into custody at Tri County Coal.
Police determined Carlisle was drunk, and he was charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI with a blood-alcohol level of 0.18 percent or higher, the Daily Voice reported.
