CARMEL, NY — Well the seasonal parking regulations are kicking in tonight. What a coincidence.
Carmel Police Chief Michael Cazzari sent out this notice Thursday afternoon:
The Town of Carmel Police Department would like to remind all residents that the winter all-night parking regulations (Town Code 147-17) states that no person shall park a vehicle upon any highway within the Town of Carmel starting on November 15 through April 15 between the hours of 6:00 p.m. through 9:00 a.m.
The purpose of this regulation is to facilitate the safe and effective removal of snow during the winter season. The Town of Carmel Police Department asks that residents be aware of the parking restrictions and comply with them.
