Carmel Woman Sold Cocaine: Putnam County Sheriff
The arrest came after a two-month-long investigation.

Carmel resident Brittany Rubino, 22, was arrestd on felony narcotics charges this week following a two-month-long investigation into cocaine sales in Carmel and Southeast, according to Putnam County Sheriff Donald B. Smith.
βIn December of 2015, a deputy assigned to the Sheriffβs Department Narcotics Enforcement Unit (NEU) developed information that a female subject was engaging in cocaine sales within the county,β said Smith in a statement. βThe deputy was able to arrange for the purchase of the drug on several occasions. On February 5, 2016, members of the NEU located the subject at her residence and took her into custody.β
She was charged with multiple felony counts of third-degree Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance, and third-degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance. If found guilty of the felony charges, she could face up to 25 years in prison and a maximum fine of $30,000, according to Smith.

Rubino is currently being held in lieu of a $1,000 cash bond at the Putnam County Correctional Facility.
