Chances for Snow, Rain: New Year's Weekend Weather for Brewster
Here's when you'll see what around Southeast.

BREWSTER, NY — The weather looks normal for our three-day New Year's weekend in the Hudson Valley, with temperatures about average, a bit of wind chill, and maybe a few snow or rain showers as icing on the cake.
"The weather looks rather quiet… but a few snow flurries can’t be totally ruled out," said Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather.
For hardy souls planning to watch ball drops, be it in Peekskill, White Plains or Times Square, midnight is the time to watch for stuff falling from the sky.

While conditions will be mainly dry on Saturday night, it's not out of the question that New York City could see a stray rain or snow shower late, according to AccuWeather Chief Meteorologist Elliot Abrams. A normal high for Dec. 31 in New York City is 39 while a normal low is 28.
