Combined Court of Honor for Scouting Brother and Sister
Belinda and Brandon Vuto of Brewster, NY received the Gold Award and attained Eagle rank.
Sister and brother Belinda and Brandon Vuto were the center of attention at a combined Court of Honor Jan. 3 to acknowledge their achievement of Scouting’s highest honors.
Belinda Vuto earned her Gold Award on July 21, 2014 for creating a patch-earning program for historical Muscoot Farm to promote visitors to the activities and sights at the working farm/museum in Somers. She was a 13-year member of Brewster Girl Scout Troop 2486 and graduated from Brewster High School in June. She attends University of New Hampshire where she is studying Engineering.
Brandon Vuto earned Eagle Rank on April 9, 2014. He constructed a beautiful Unilock pathway to replace a broken up blacktop path at Drew United Methodist Church in Carmel. The path connects the Church to the parsonage. Drew Church is the sponsor of Brandon’s Boy Scout Troop 1 in Carmel. Brandon Vuto is a senior at Iona Preparatory in New Rochelle and plans on studying Engineering in College.
