Catherine P. Plunkett, a longtime resident of Brewster, died on Friday.
Kay was born on Nov. 25, 1921, and married Robert Bruce Plunkett on Nov. 30, 1946. Bruce predeceased her on Jan. 18, 2000.

She was an active member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Court Bernadine Capter in Brewster, and the St. Lawrence O'Toole seniors. She worked at Reader's Digest for many years and the Putnam COunty Savings Bank.
She will always remembered for her great smile and contagious laugh. She was the loving mother of Kitt, Robert, Geri and Edward. She was adored by her seven grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday at . Interment will follow at St. Lawrence O'Toole Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Beecher Funeral Home (1 Putnam Avenue in Brewster).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the (501 N Main Street).
