Commuters Watch for Slippery Roads: National Weather Service
The NWS says untreated Putnam roads could be a bit icy early Wednesday morning.
BREWSTER, NY — The National Weather Service has issued a special statement for Putnam and Orange counties Wednesday.
Temperatures will hover right around freezing in spots early this
morning. Light freezing rain or drizzle is possible locally, so
please exercise caution when traveling early this morning as some
untreated roads and surfaces may be slippery.
Temperatures will rise into the mid-40s today, but then it will be turning colder to end the work week.
