Computer Grant for Brewster Library
State Sen. Terrence Murphy visited to check out the new laptops.

Brewster, NY - State Sen. Terrence Murphy (R,C, 40th) procured $7,500 in the state budget to purchase nine laptop computers for the Brewster Public Library.
On Monday, Murphy toured the library, meeting with Library Director Gina Loprinzo and patrons hard at work on the computers.

"Our libraries are a crucial to our children's development, and they can play an important role for any adult or senior looking to advance their lives," said Murphy in his announcement about the grant. "There's an old saying, 'knowledge is power.' The more people benefit from these new laptops, the more it helps strengthen our communities."
