Cops: Hypodermic Needles Found after Traffic Stop in Carmel
A Mount Kisco man is facing charges.

Putnam County Sheriff Donald B. Smith reports the arrest of a Mount Kisco man on misdemeanor charges following a traffic stop in Carmel.
At 3:53 p.m. Feb. 19, Sergeant Johnathon Cihanek stopped a motorist for allegedly failing to yield the right of way to traffic on U.S. Route 6 in the Town of Carmel. The driver, identified as Christopher J. Demauro, of 17 Carlton Drive in Mount Kisco, allegedly misrepresented his identity to the deputy by giving a false name.
Police allege that their investigation found that the 30-year-old was in possession of two hypodermic needles.
