CT Residents Charged With Drunken Driving in NY

New York State troopers arrested 2 Danbury residents and a Waterbury man while patroling roads in Putnam County.

New York State police arrested three Connecticut residents the weekend of Dec. 14. They were accused of drunken driving.

On Dec. 14, State Police from SP East Fishkill arrested Taylor C. Maher, 25, of Danbury, CT, for Aggravated DWI. She was traveling on Independent Way in the town of Southeast, when she was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed she was under the influence of alcohol, police alleged.

On Dec. 15, troopers from the Brewster barracks arrested Jimmy T. Pin Lliguichuzhca, 31, of Waterbury, CT. He was traveling on Danbury Road in Southeast, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Police came to the conclusion he was under the influence of alcohol.

Also on Dec. 15, New York State troopers arrested Matthew Joyner, 41, of Danbury, CT, for DWI. He was traveling on Interstate 684 in Southeast when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, police alleged.
