A Chilly Weather Reminder
The first chill of winter has arrived, and it is reminder that college application deadlines are drawing near. For seniors, this is the last call to apply to the colleges of your choice. It is also your final opportunity to take the SAT is on December 6; the ACT will offer its final 2014 test on December 13. Make sure that you know the final application deadlines for each college.
If you are a junior, you should be preparing to take the SAT and/or the ACT early in 2015. If you wait for the May and June tests, you will also be taking Regents and Advanced Placement exams at the same time of year. Taking so many influential exams simultaneously creates a great deal of pressure, and it can be avoided if you take you SAT or ACT during the months of January through April.
