Don't Miss: 45th Annual Putnam County Fair July 29-31

It's time for the 45th Annual Putnam County 4-H Fair! Free Admission! Free Parking! Animals, Country Living Auction, Food, Entertainment, Games, Activities, Exhibits, Horse Show, Chicken Barbeque, Master Gardener Plant Sale, Touch a Truck! Rain or Shine!

It's also the only County Fair that’s easy to get to on Metro-North. Take the Harlem Line to Brewster Station, where you can connect to a free shuttle to Putnam County Veterans Memorial Park for the fair. Hourly shuttles are available on Saturday and Sunday (click here to see a full shuttle schedule).

Here are the hours for the fair:

• Friday, July 29, 2016, 12 - 6PM
• Saturday, July 30, 2016, 10AM - 7PM
• Sunday, July 31, 2016, 10AM - 5PM

The fair is packed full of games, crafts, animal exhibits, and a Country Auction where you can bid and win tools, patio furniture or antique farm equipment. Or, win a ribbon for entering your photography, quilt, baked goods, great vegetables and crafts for display in the big exhibit building. Festivities for the kids include Tony’s World of Science and Magic, Touch a Truck, horse demos, face painting, and of course all the fried, sugary treats you’d expect to find at a county fair.
