Don't Miss: Brewster Fall Festival Is Sept. 8

BREWSTER, NY — The annual fall festival is coming up, and Brewster is getting ready! Main Street will be filled with neighbors, vendors, entertainment, and lots and lots of food from noon to 5 p.m.

The Cultural Arts Coalition is the free, family-friendly event organizer. Last year it pulled in more than 4,000 people.

Showing up to talk to you and each other will be merchants, community organizations, local businesses, crafters, artists, veterans’ organizations, politicians, historical societies, health & wellness services, jewelry, books, churches, and food vendors.

Free live music and entertainment will be provided throughout the day. There will be lots for kids to do, most of them free, including games and even a pie-eating contest.

Stop by the Old Town Hall Theater at 67 Main Street to hear about the progress of the theater restoration.

“The Brewster Fall Festival is the perfect event for people new and not-so-new to the area to find out about all the amazing things our community has to offer,” director Margaret Carey said in a press release. “We are very fortunate to have a dedicated team of volunteers to help showcase the best of our community while helping raise funds for the restoration of the Old Town Hall Theater at 67 Main Street in Brewster.”

Remember, there is free parking at the Tri-State Lot at Park Street and Morningthorpe Ave. Putnam County's trolley will take you to Main Street.
