An Egg-stravaganza will welcome spring from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 4 at Tilly Foster Farm in Brewster.

The event will feature activities, crafts and photos with the Easter Bunny. The highlight of the day will be the egg hunt that kicks off at noon.

“This is going to be an EGGS-cellent day for families from Putnam and the surrounding communities,” said Libby Pataki, director of Putnam County Tourism in a prepared statement. “Tilly Foster Farm is a valued treasure and its location makes it easy for people to get to.”

Admission to the Tilly Foster Farm Egg-stravaganza is $2 per child under 12 years old. Older children and adults are free. Beverages and refreshments will be available for purchase.

In addition to the planned activities, families are encouraged to walk around the farm and view the animals, officials said. Since the county re-opened the farm last June, it has repopulated the property with low-maintenance animals including chickens, pigs, alpacas, and miniature horses.
