From the Putnam County Kennel Club:
We expect more than 500 dogs at our annual AKC Putnam County Kennel Club All Breed Dog Shows: Conformation, Obedience & Rally Trials. There will be 2 days of shows July 21 and 22nd 2017. The event will be held at the Putnam County Veterans Memorial Park, located at 225 Gipsy Trail Rd, Carmel, NY 10509.
Spend the day watching dogs in conformation competition being judged against the standard for the breed. Obedience and rally trials will test dogs understanding of commands, as they maneuver hurdles & retrieve articles. If you are interested in finding out about different breeds, there will be many exhibitors with their dogs, to help answer your questions. Wander around our beautiful show grounds, buy lunch at our food cart and enjoy the day!
