Drugs Found On Incoming Inmate: Putnam Sheriff
A woman sent to the Putnam County jail for violation of probation now faces additional charges.

CARMEL, NY — A woman sent to the Putnam County jail for violation of probation now faces additional charges. On Jan. 5, Lisa M. Bianco of the Bronx was committed to the Putnam County Correctional Facility for a violation of Probation, Putnam County Sheriff Robert L. Langley Jr. reported.
During intake procedures, Correction Officers searched her, and found a quantity of alleged heroin and cocaine was found secreted on her person.
Bianco was charged with (2) two counts of Promoting Prison Contraband in the 1st Degree, a class D Felony, and (2) two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, a class A Misdemeanor.

The 39-year-old was arraigned before the Honorable Judge Joseph J. Spofford, Jr. of the Town of Carmel Justice Court and remanded to the Putnam County Correctional facility, in lieu of $25,000 cash / $50,000 bond, pending a future court date.
