State Police in Troop K removed 18 impaired motorists from public roadways over the June 27 weekend. Among them were four DWI arrests in Putnam County.

On June 27, troopers arrested Frank M. Terzigni, 42, of New Fairfield, CT, for DWI, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 3rd degree, Bail Jumping, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree, all misdemeanors. He was traveling on Interstate 84 in the town of Patterson, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol, with a suspended license, an active warrant for a previous DWI arrest in the town of Southeast, and in possession of approximately 2 grams of cocaine.

On June 27, the State Police from SP Brewster arrested Michael J. Hulse, 48, of Danbury, CT, for DWI. He was traveling on Danbury Road in the town of Southeast, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol and was subsequently arrested

On June 28, the State Police from SP Brewster arrested Meredith L. Munger, 56, of Vero Beach, FL, for DWI. She was traveling on Danbury Road in the town of Southeast, when she was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed she was under the influence of alcohol and was subsequently arrested.

On June 28, troopers arrested Elisha T. Cooper, 38, of Montgomery, NY, for DWI with two prior convictions within ten years, a class D felony. He was traveling on Interstate 84 in the town of Kent, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Investigation revealed he was under the influence of alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
