The Studio Around The Corner is happy to announce the dual exhibit of works by both Andrea Stubbs and Michelle Peterson for the month of April.
The artists are long time friends and creative “soul mates”. They bring both different and unique works to the Studio for the entire month of April.
Andrea Stubbs a self-taught artist began her career approximately 20 years ago. As a teenager she attended creative art camps on Martha’s Vineyard. Initially dabbling in wood burning, she burned designs in to various pieces furniture and objects. She moved to her latest ventures into furniture and wall art that have been inspired by music, nature, and life experience.
Michelle Petersen is also a self-taught artist whose career started as a child constructing dollhouses and sewing doll clothes. She learned pottery and metal enameling in summer camp and studied drawing and painting in oils in high school and college. She recently began working with encaustic wax painting providing mixed media works with interesting depth and texture.
