Eligible For A COVID-19 Booster: Putnam Clinic Wednesday

CARMEL, NY — The Putnam County Department of Health has scheduled a COVID-19 vaccine booster clinic on Wednesday at the former Dressbarn in Putnam Plaza in Carmel.

Moderna and Pfizer vaccine will be available for eligible individuals who are 18 and older. Eligible individuals include those who received their second dose of Pfizer or Moderna vaccine at least 6 months ago who are:

  • 65 years and older
  • Age 18+ who have underlying medical conditions
  • Age 18+ who work or live in high-risk settings
  • Those 18 and older who received Johnson & Johnson vaccine at least 2 months ago.

If you have not been vaccinated and wish to receive a first dose of vaccine, visit www.vaccines.gov. Also, the PCDOH will administer first-dose COVID vaccines at its regularly scheduled immunization clinics.
