Brewster Theater Company presents Summer Playreading of "Shakespeare in Hollywood"

The Brewster Theater Company presents their Summer Playreading Workshop staged reading of "Shakespeare in Hollywood" by Ken Ludwig on Sunday, July 29th at 2:00 p.m. in The Studio Around the Corner, 67 Main St, Ste. 101, in the Village of Brewster, NY. Directed bt Patricia Sebastian. The hilarious play is based on a true story – a 1930’s movie of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, equivalent to Shakespeare meets Singing in the Rain without music. This event is made possible, in part by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the NY State Legislature and with public funds from Putnam County.  These grant programs are managed and monitored by the Putnam Arts Council.
