Free Flu Vaccine Clinic

Via the Putnam County Department of Health:

The Putnam County Department of Health is holding a FREE public seasonal flu vaccine clinic on January 26 from 10 a.m. -3:30 p.m. It’s not too late to vaccinate! Flu season typically peaks in January or February and can last as late as May. Residents who have not yet been vaccinated are encouraged to get their flu shot now. Getting the flu vaccine is simple, and it’s the most important thing you can do to protect yourself and your family from the flu.

Prescriptions are not required at the January 26 flu clinic and no appointments are necessary. The influenza vaccine for this year contains three strains, including the H1N1strain. Anyone 6 months of age and older who lives or works in New York State will be eligible to receive FREE flu vaccine at this clinic.

SAVE TIME! In order to move people through the clinic more quickly, vaccine consent forms are available here. Download the forms, complete them and bring them with you to the clinic. Forms will be available at the clinic if you are unable to download them.

Please continue to check the Putnam County Department of Health Flu Vaccine Hotline at 845-808-1390 for further updates. You may also visit the Health Department’s website for more information about influenza.
