Exposure to Coronavirus At Supermarket: Putnam County

CARMEL, NY — Putnam County health officials are warning anyone who shopped or worked at the TOPS supermarket in Carmel at certain times July 2 or 5 that they may have been exposed to the new coronavirus.

The exposure times were 5:30 - 10:30 a.m. July 2 and 5:30 - 8 a.m. July 5.

"Please watch for symptoms of COVID-19 which include fever, chills, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea," county health officials said on Facebook. "Contact your physician with any concerns."
