Felony Charge for Mahopac Woman Accused of Driving Drunk

CARMEL, NY — Michaela Benova of Mahopac faces charges stemming from a motor vehicle accident May 25. Carmel Police allege the 33-year-old was operating her motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

Benova was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 1st Degree, an E Felony, Driving While Intoxicated and Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated with a BAC Higher than .18 percent.
