BREWSTER, NY — A two-family home in Brewster was destroyed in a fire Wednesday morning.

Assisting the Brewster Fire Department were firefighters from Carmel, Mahopac, Patterson and Croton Falls, plus other departments who backed them up.

The fire at 2592 Carmel Avenue was gas-fed, The Journal News reported. Frank Becerra Jr., a volunteer firefighter in Brewster and a photojournalist for lohud.com, took this gallery of photos.
