MAHOPAC FALLS, NY — On a glorious sun-filled morning, members of the Mahopac Falls Fire Department visited the daycare at Pine Grove School for their 2021 fire prevention presentation.

As the ambulance and engine backed down the driveway, little faces began filling every open space at the windows, said firefighter Jack Casey. It was especially exciting for the firefighters because Fire Prevention had been put on hold because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Fireman Walt spoke to the youngsters about what to do if they must call 911, what to do if there is a fire in their home and the importance of STOP/Drop and ROLL.
