SOUTHEAST, NY — Cities and counties across the country continue to bring back many of the traditional Independence Day activities that were either canceled or modified the last two years.

Here's what's in store this July 4 weekend around Southeast:

The Hudson Valley Renegades is hosting fireworks shows after every Friday and Saturday home game with a special Super Fireworks Show July 3 to celebrate Independence Day. For more information, go here.

The Westchester County Music Fest and Fireworks, Kensico Dam Plaza, Valhalla, Sunday, July 3. Pre-concert entertainment starts at 5 p.m.; fireworks, about 9:15 p.m.

Rye Playland Fridays plus July 4. Enjoy a beautiful fireworks show at Playland beginning 4th of July weekend and continuing all summer long! SHOW TIMES: July 2nd-4th at 9:15 pm, and on every Friday following.

And of course there's Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Show 2022 in NYC. It begins at 8 p.m. on NBC and streamed on Peacock featuring the U.S. Army Field Band and Soldiers Chorus plus a lot more. The fireworks go off around 9:25 p.m. from barges in the East River.
