Flood Advisory For Putnam County Wednesday

This rain will fall over already saturated ground from the recent heavy rain.

PUTNAM COUNTY, NY — The National Weather Service has issued an Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for Eastern Putnam County. It's in effect until 12:15 a.m.

At 909 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a large area of moderate to heavy rain. This rain will fall over already saturated ground from the recent heavy rain. This will cause urban and small stream flooding in the advisory area.

Some locations that will experience flooding include... Yonkers, Bridgeport, New Haven, Stamford, Waterbury, Norwalk, Danbury, Meriden, White Plains, Milford, Wallingford, Shelton, Naugatuck, Port Chester and Guilford.
