Foodies Don't Miss Alchemy Project's June 30 Fundraiser
A charity dining event with 5 of the nation's luminary chefs preparing dinner in Sherman, CT is organized by the Clock Tower Grill's owners.

BREWSTER, NY — A charity dining event with some of the nation’s luminary chefs preparing a five-course dinner is coming up June 30 on behalf of the Julia's Wings Foundation. Using local and seasonal products, this ultimate dining event is for food enthusiasts and features:
- Rich Parente, Clock Tower Grill, Brewster (host)
- Ned Elliott, Foreign & Domestic, Austin, Austin, TX
- Steve Goff, Chef, Partner, The Blind Pig Supper Club/Aux Bar
- Mike Moore, Chef, Partner, The Blind Pig Supper Club/Aux Bar, Asheville, NC
- David Santos, Good Stock & Um Segredo Supper Club, NYC
Longtime friends Cassie and Rich Parente of Clock Tower Grill and Laura Lee Holmbo of LL & Co. created the project by doing what they love to do the most – feeding people amazing food and giving back to someone in need. The Alchemy Project is available for charity, private and pop-up dining events.
With each dining experience, The Alchemy Project gives back. After all, that’s what it's all about, Holmbo said.

“Not only is this dining experience sure to ‘transform the senses,’ but we're bringing awareness about aplastic anemia, a condition when the body stops producing enough new blood cells to stay healthy. This does not get the research attention like more well-known diseases. If it wasn’t for the inspirational story behind Julia’s Wings then we wouldn’t have even known about this rare disease,” Parente said.
Details for the event are as follows:

“Alchemy Project seeks to redefine the dining experience by bringing together chefs to create a tasting menu that transforms the diner’s senses. Our giving strategy is to build bonds through an extraordinary meal that raises funds and awareness for a worthy local cause,” Holmbo says. “For our upcoming farm dinner, our particular goal is to raise awareness about the important work that Julia’s Foundation does to help with supporting aplastic anemia research and helping families who are faced with exorbitant treatment costs when treating this rare blood disease.

About THE ALCHEMY PROJECT
EATING TOGETHER. GIVING BACK. The Alchemy Project is a group of chef talent coming together to deliver a feast that transforms the senses. It is the primal act of bringing people to together and building bonds with an extraordinary meal.
Participating chefs vary based on dining experience. All “Alchemy” chef participants share the commonality of being experts in their craft. Although they have a blast delivering you exceptional dining experiences, these chefs are offering their own time for no compensation. We encourage you to patronize each chef in her or his eatery.
