SOMERS, NY โ€” State police from Troop K removed 27 impaired drivers from local roads during the weekend of Oct. 5. Those included three arrests in Somers and one in Yorktown.

On October 6, State Police from SP Somers arrested Lisa A. Vanderweker, 54, of Yorktown, NY, for DWI. She was traveling on Granite Spring Road in the town of Somers, when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol, police allege.

On October 6, State Police from SP Stormville arrested Ryan S. Priore, 25, of Shrub Oak, NY, for Aggravated DWI due to a prior conviction, a class E felony. He was traveling on the Taconic State Parkway in the town of Yorktown, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, police allege.

On October 7, State Police from SP Hawthorne arrested Eric Lee, 29, of Easthampton, MA, for DWI. He was traveling on the Taconic State Parkway in the town of Yorktown, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, police allege.

On October 7, State Police from SP Somers arrested Wilmer A. Gonzalez Melchor, 25, of Mount Kisco, NY, for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 202 in the town of Somers, when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. Investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol, police allege.
