Friday Night BBQ Live Entertainment Series is Back at Putnam County Golf Course

Mahopac, New York –May 2, 2018—Putnam County Golf Course is proud to announce the 2018 Friday Night BBQ Summer Live Entertainment Series Band Lineup.

"It is absolutely incredible how these events have grown in both attendance and quality of music over the past 5 years,” says Mike McCall, General Manager at Putnam County Golf Course. “I still remember the first event in which we had in which about 25-30 people showed up to listen to a small local band. Now, we normally see 300-400 people with some events reaching the 1,000 mark.”

“The Barbecue Music Series at Putnam County Golf Course has made Putnam County a nightlife destination for people throughout the Hudson Valley,” says MaryEllen ODell, Putnam County Executive. “I am so proud of how far the golf course has come in the past five years. It has grown to become a premier golf course, an in-demand event venue and a hub for great entertainment.”

The concert series will kick off on June 1st with Shilelagh Law, followed by Evolution—a Journey Tribute band on June 8th, Hindenburg—Led Zeppelin Tribute on June 15th, Disco Night on June 22nd, and Get Your Wings—Aerosmith Tribute Band on June 29th.

July brings popular and infamous The Nerds on July 6th, with Tramps Like Us—Bruce Springsteen Tribute on July 13th, Zac Brown Tribute Band on July 20th, and Gypsy—Fleetwood Mac Tribute on July 27th.

One Wild Night—Bon Jovi Tribute kicks off the August lineup on the 3rd, with Appetite for Destruction—Guns N’ Roses Tribute on August 10th, Desert Highway—The Eagles Tribute on August 17th, and Who’s Your Daddy on August 24th.

As always, the concert series will conclude with the Lobster and Clam Bake on September 9th.

“The community absolutely loves these events because there’s a great atmosphere, great music and great food for under $30,” says McCall. “I don’t believe any of us here at Putnam County foresaw how successful these events would become. Now the challenge is trying to outdo ourselves each year."

Tickets can be pre-ordered online at www.putnamcountygolfcourse.com/events for $29 plus tax and includes BBQ and Show. A cash bar will be available. Tickets at the door are $35.00. The doors open each Friday at 6:30 PM with seating and BBQ and live music starting at 8:00 PM.
