Gas Prices Expected to Dip Below $2 Per Gallon: AAA

Gas prices are at the lowest nationwide that they’ve been in years, according to the Automobile Club of America. They should soon fall below the $2 per gallon mark for the first time since 2009.

That’s nationwide, of course, though we can always hope.

In New York, the average is $2.29 -- and Brewster area gas stations are right at the average, according to Gas Buddy,

Of course, you also don’t have to go far to find prices under $2. Connecticut is headed there fast.

Gas is already down to $1.99 at several Danbury stations, such as the Mobil at 112 Newtown Rd & Pocono Rd.
