6th Annual Putnam County Wine & Food Fest To Be Held August 6th and 7th

Patterson, NY – April 6, 2016 – The Putnam County Wine & Food Fest is proud to announce the lineup for its 6th annual event. This two-day festival will be held on August 6 and 7, 2016, at the Beaver Creek Equestrian Center (683 Route 311, Patterson, NY). The Fest will highlight Putnam’s most renowned wine producers, and feature world-class culinary professionals, food, arts and crafts, fresh produce, local and international artists.

The festival, which runs from 11am-6pm on Saturday and 11am-5pm on Sunday, will have a variety of musical performances as well. Guests will be able to enjoy cooking demonstration with celebrity chef, Johnny Ciao who will also join Dean Shot Band for a live music performance. Also performing is the Jim Marrone Trio, along with other bands that will be announced over the next few weeks. The performances will feature musical genres ranging between pop, country, R&B and reggae.

So far, the wine and spirits merchants that will be showcasing their products at the festival are as follows: Adirondack Winery, Awestruck Hard Ciders, Kas Spirits LLC, and Pazdar Winery. Additionally, the distillers that will be in attendance will be: Jewel of Russia. Throughout the weekend, these wineries and distillers will be showcasing their goods through tastings, and also will be selling either by the bottle or the case.

There will be many specialty food and arts and craft merchants as well. Some of the food vendors attending this year’s festival include: Gourmet Creations and Sherri’s Crab Cakes. Some of the craft vendors that will be attending the fest include, Soukoup Farms and SallyeAnder Soaps. These vendors will be selling their finest goods throughout the weekend as well.

Putnam County Wine & Food Fest’s current sponsors and partners include: News 12 Westchester/Hudson Valley, Hudson Valley Wine Magazine, Hudson Valley Food and Beverage Alliance, Metro North, Buzz Creators, Inc., International Restaurant & Food Service Show of New York, and Xfinity.

An important part of the Putnam County Wine & Food Fest is giving back to the community. A portion of this year’s proceeds will be going to Dutchess/Putnam REACT, an organization providing Safe Radio assistance for community events.

The Putnam County Wine & Food Fest is still accepting sponsorship, vendor and volunteer applications. More than 4,500 people have attended the event over the past few years, and the festival expects to keep growing with new products and offerings.
