Arts on the Lake

Postponed!!!!! Due to the Nor'easter our Saturday, September 26th at 4:30 p.m. has been rescheduled to October 3rd at 4:30 p.m.
 Arts on the Lake's company in residence, PCDP, presents dances inspired by the 250th anniversary of our country's Declaration of Independence and Revolution. The program features repertory from modern dance revolutionary Isadora Duncan ("Revolutionary," "The Crossing," and "Nightride"), along with reimagined work in the Duncan technique by Faith Kimberling and Marie Carstens. Additional pieces range from elegant, stirring work by Erin Jennings featuring music by local composer Andres Luis Virola, to an homage created by Steven Jeltsch expressing the emotional volatility experienced by loved ones waiting at home as soldiers go to war.

Regular performance tickets may also be purchased in advance or at the door for $25.
