Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued for Brewster

Friday’s still a couple of days away but that hasn’t stopped the National Weather Service from issuing a “Hazardous Weather Outlook” for a lot of the lower Hudson Valley already.
In the “Hazardous Weather Outlook” statement, the National Weather Service says Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester can expect “showers and thunderstorms ahead of a cold front and wave of low pressure may produce heavy rain capable of flooding and strong wind gusts.”
There is also a chance of storms each day this weekend too. But before we get to the weekend we’re still dealing with a heatwave as temperatures will be around 90 degrees on Wednesday and Thursday with sunny skies.

Sunny in the morning...then partly sunny with isolated showers or thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 80s. West winds around 5 mph...becoming southwest around 5 mph in the afternoon. Chance of rain 20 percent.
