CARMEL, NY — United for the Troops is looking for donations to make its "Operation Cupid" a February success. You can help.

They need items from the wish list to go in the gift boxes they will be packing and shipping Jan. 25. Donations must be received by Jan. 20 and, if you want to add a personal note, drop off Valentine cards by Jan. 22.

The men and women who get these care packages are always extremely grateful, said United for the Troops founder Jim Rathschmidt.
