Helping to Beautify Therapy Gardens in Putnam

Putnam Family & Community Services is very proud of their beautiful gardens in Carmel and a Patterson firm helped with spring maintenance.

CARMEL, NY – Putnam Family & Community Services is very proud of the beautiful gardens made possible through the dedication and generosity of Mary Alice King, LCSW, one of their psychiatric social workers – and a Master Gardener. But there is always so much more to do to make the grounds as pleasant and welcoming for clients as possible.

So they were happy to welcome volunteers from the JMT Consulting Group of Patterson, NY, who spent the afternoon of May 23 generously helping to clean up the grounds and gardens, trim trees, and plant beautiful, colorful annuals. In particular, the Children’s Therapeutic Garden received some needed attention and is once again ready for their youngest clients to visit and enjoy a peaceful retreat.

“We are very grateful to JMT Consulting for their generous donation of time and energy to get us ready for the spring and summer seasons. We know that all who enter our doors will appreciate their efforts to make PFCS a warm, welcoming place for recovery,” stated Diane Russo, Chief Executive Officer at PFCS.
